At 2:00pm ET, the Fed will release their Beige Book, which is a gathering of "anecdotal information on current economic conditions" by each Federal Reserve Bank in their district. It will be very interesting to hear some of the dialogue amongst Fed members as it relates to a double dip recession, and the likelihood of using more government stimulus should the economy slow further.

I am sorry that you ended up with a higher rate even after you did due diligence. This would never happen with me and now that all Mortgage Originators must be licensed by the Feds and are overseen, you should not have such an experience again.
